President Mugabe’s government has ordered nine million paper ballots for Zimbabwe’s upcoming elections.

Zimbabwe has 5.9 million voters.

They also ordered 600,000 mail-in ballots, to make sure that the country’s few thousand civil servants serving abroad aren’t disenfranchised.

I’m sure they’re just trying to have enough spare ballots on hand, just in case somebody mis-marks theirs, like by not checking off the box next to MUGABE.

  • Zimbabwe’s voting ballots look something like this:

    ( ) I vote for Mugabe
    ( ) I do not vote for Mugabe *
