I’m finding it more and more interesting how each candidate is shaping up in terms of what the presidency’s consititutional powers actually are. And the fact that none of ‘em seem to give a good goddamn about what those powers are limited to. The dam sprang huge numbers of leaks in Bush’s administration - from wiretapping US citizens, “Free Speech Zones” and the like… looks like these three are seeing themselves as taking more a Prime Ministerial role than the job of custodian of that inconvenient bloody Constitution.

On careful reflection, I’m about yig far *holds fingers a few air molecules apart* from declaring the lot of ‘em to be wankers, and to hell with it. I’d really rather the US didn’t go that way, but I seem to be in disagreement with The Peepul on this one.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Obama even omitted from the ballot in one of those states?(Michigan IIRC).

Wait, you mean a politician is…fighting dirty? Heavens no, next thing they’ll be talking about ‘fixing the broken system’ but digging into my wallet instead.

Good for Hillary! I hope she stays in and prevents Obama from getting the necessary amount of delegates and turing the convention into a giant cat fight.

I just love watching the dems shredding themselves and their party to pieces. They have impaled themselves on the stake of identity politics. The best part is, they defined the politics of race and gender, and now they have no way out. Obama is un-electable in the general election, period. If the supers nominate Hillary, who has a much better chance against McCommie, Denver will BURN. What an amusing circumstance this is. All 3 candidates suck, so the best thing to do is sit back, and enjoy the fireworks.

The longer this whole yuck-fest drags out the better. The two most socialistic candidates for president we’ve seen in years damaging each other an only be a good thing. There’s still a chance we won’t have higher taxs, Canadian health care, and Assault WB 2 this time next year.

I just want her to fold gracefully. As gracefully as possible, after the shameless approach she’s taken to date, that is. My personal approval of Obama’s taken a few nasty knocks recently, but that doesn’t stop the fact that as it’s currently going, she’s handing the election to Colonel Tigh. Which is something I really don’t want to see.

‘Course, $6.5 mil sez she ain’t about to do the decent thing. And heaven forbid we get someone who’s keen on the decent thing in the Oval.
