"none of the above are acceptable."

Here’s what’s going into my front yard this campaign season, poster-sized:

Too bad there’s nobody running who has “Leaving People The Fuck Alone” as part of their platform.  There’s no money or power in that, you see, and that kind of message doesn’t have much traction with the electorate these days.  Sure, everyone is down with being left alone, but few people can stand the prospect of having to leave others alone, and that kind of attitude is not limited to just McCainiacs or Obamaites.

A plague on both their houses, I say.

At this point, I literally have no idea where I’m going to make my mark come November, because for someone who values the entire Bill of Rights, having to make a choice from this particular menu of vote whores, class warfare field marshals, senile authoritarians, and plain out nutcases, it feels like getting served a half-dozen plates of shit in various consistencies, and being asked, “Which one of these looks yummiest to you?”

  • If you’re printing some up, let me know and I’ll buy one from you. There needs to be a “leave us the fuck alone” party.

  • For the first time since I have been eligible to vote, I’m considering sitting out the election.

The only thing preventing me from hurling myself off of that precipice is the fact that I wouldn’t feel entitled to bitch about whoever WAS elected if I didn’t participate in the process.

  • I could add a strapline reading “This message approved by the Y’ain’t The Boss O’Me Party” if that helps, Bitter.

  • If you sell T-shirts with this on it I need a couple in size 4XLT. (I’m big but not that big. I just like my T-shirts to fit really loose.)

Good one munchkin wrangler. I hate not to vote when so many of my ancestors and family members have fought for our freedoms but I just don’t see a good choice.

    What’s an assrot to do?

Good grief. Here we go again. Maybe it would be a good idea if you kids sat this next election out. That’ll learn us all real good, won’t it? Cripes, we had to listen to those smelly hippies from the 60’s as they railed against the establishment and ‘The Man’ and all the other forces of evil that were out to infringe on their rights to smoke pot and shirk responsibility for themselves.

You fellas need to grow up. Urkel is advocating economic suicide, victim politics, and his foreign policy has moslem tyrants singing his praises. If you want a nanny state, that boy is fixin’ to give you one. Even a piece of chit like McCain looks good next to all that.

What’s an assrot to do? It’s called ‘damage control’. Vote for the lesser of two evils, it shouldn’t be that hard.

  • Call it the LUTFA Party. I’ll join.

  • Could you have one printed up by Sunday? I might be in the West Leb area and would like to have it on the lawn pronto.

  • I’m voting for Ron Paul. It’s the only choice my conscience can live with.

  • How about this: “Vote McCain – at least we can still shoot the bastard if we need to”

  • Word. At this point its the lesser of two evils, and even that is a hard decision to make.

  • Hence the need for a third way. A new way – and an old way.

The Leave Me The Fuck Alone Way.

  • I am not voting for anybody but I am voting against Obama. His economic and foreign policy crap is Jimmy Carter all over again and I can’t go thru that again.

  • The LUTFA Party should nominate Bozo for president. I can see the bumper sticker:

    BOZO for President 2008
Not as bad as the other clowns!

  • I just can’t figure out who is the lesser of the two weasels.

REALLY? Look closer. One wants Shicago Style gun laws. The other is from Arizona, home of Gunsite.

  • The Bill of Rights has ten Amendments, not just one.

  • i wish we had a none of the above option and that if “none of the above” won, the aboves could not run again for 10 years.
