Back in October, my friend Oleg was up at Castle Frostbite for a visit. He took a bunch of pictures for a super-secret project, and a bunch more for the family album. I just got a DVD in the mail with the photographic take of the day, and thought I’d share some shots.
(All photos courtesy of Oleg Volk.)
Wringing out Oleg’s suppressed Walther P22 with green Viridian laser.
Traipsing through the woods with my first and favorite rifle ever, a chopped-down No.4 “Tanker” Enfield.
The kids, assembling their List of Demands for Santa.
The Lord and Lady of the manor.
Quinn, pre-haircut.
Lyra, three and a half.

Those are some seriously awesome pictures, Marko.
I wish I’d been able to meet Oleg when he was up this way…
The pic of that hitman special in mid-eject is a (sur)real work of art…

Those are photos of my friends. They make me happy.
Wow! Adorable kids, a beautiful wife (she has such a lovely smile), firearms, and a New England autumn. SIGH!! Thanks for posting the snaps.
It also reminds me I need to work up a low power cast bullet load for my No. 1 Mark 4 SMLE.
Those kids, man. Quinn’s starting to look like a young man, and Lyra was an infant a couple weeks ago, right? (You’re gonna need more guns; just sayin;) I’m just a reader, so I can imagine what it must be like for you!
You have a lovely family. And a nice Enfield.

My wife is getting me a shirt for my birthday “Guns don’t kill people, fathers of beautiful daughters do”
