A few months ago, Concealed Carry Magazine featured a profile article about that Munchkin Wrangler guy from Upper Cryogenica. (Friend Oleg Volk was here last fall to take pictures and ask questions for the article.)
For those of you who don’t subscribe to CCM, here’s a link to the online version of that article.
Wow. I didn’t realize you’d moved up there for the Free State Project. It’s an ambitious plan, and means you really put your money where your mouth is.
Is there any particular reason you don’t write much about the Project?
Dude. Awesome. Tell me you’re bringing a pistol to Readercon?
Wish I could, but my NH permit isn’t any good in MA, and I’m not too excited about the idea of spending three years at a MA state prison.
You *could* have an armed escort…
Excellent article!
Steve
I really liked the bit about not wanting to outsource your personal safety, and I read it aloud to a friend who is an acknowledged hoplophobe. Didn’t do any good (she sat for a moment, then exclaimed, “But it’s still just because you want a gun!”) but I thought it summed up my own position very nicely.
And I thought I was so innovative when I shortened my Enfield.
Great thought on self defense V. outsourcing personal safety.
