About

I’m a thirty-whatever professional dad and freelance writer. I’m married to Robin, who is my best friend, and we live in an eclectic house in western New Hampshire with two kids and four dachshunds.

This blog is my sounding board and outlet. Its main purpose is to provide information and entertainment, and serve as a water cooler of sorts. You’re welcome to leave comments, even (and especially) if you don’t agree with my take on things. There are only a few things I’ll either address sparingly, or not at all, and one of them is religion. If you’re looking to convert me to your One True Faith or tell me what kind of horrid things are in stock for me in your version of the afterlife, don’t waste your time and mine–I’m not buying what you’re selling.

Everyone else, pull up a chair and make yourselves at home.
