assorted offerings from the big box o’ gun junk.

Today, bargains abound here at The Munchkin Wrangler!

This morning, I was looking for something in my boxes of gun stuff in the attic, and I decided to weed out a bunch of stuff that’s been sitting unused for several years now.  I may be able to use all those fabulous things in the future again at some point, but my tastes have shifted in the carry gun & holster department, and chances are that these things will spend the next decade or two in the holster box as well if I don’t find new owners for them.

Therefore, I’m running a virtual yard sale today!  Check out all the stuff below, and if you’d like to claim something, leave a comment at the bottom of this post, so there’s no doubt about who called dibs on what first.  Once you leave your comment, send me an email with your snail mail address (marko dot kloos at gmail dot com.)  PayPal preferred, but you can send a check or what-have-you.  Trades for livestock discouraged.

Claimed items will be crossed out as the sale progresses.

All prices include USPS shipping.

Step on up, fellow gun nuts, and sample the wares!

Protech Outdoors fanny pack ($15)

Fits:  Revolvers and Semi-auto pistols up to Glock 19/3” K-Frame size.

Description:  This is a nylon fanny pack with a universal holster bit that’s an adjustable velcro loop sewn to a Velcro-backed disc that can be arranged inside the pack any which way.  The “holster” part has an elastic loop on top of it, for storage of a spare magazine on top of the gun for easy access.  The pack has the gun compartment, a huge main storage compartment, and a front document compartment with credit card/DL holders.  The belt is adjustable, and it looks like it would let out to fit Meat Loaf, if needed.  The gun compartment has rip cords on either side for quick opening.  Close to brand new; only used once or twice.

Bianchi #4/4L “Askins Avenger” ($20)

Fits: Semi-auto pistols with round or square trigger guards and up to 4” barrels.  Perfect for a SIG P228/229 or similar-sized weapon.

Description:  Solid, well-made Bianchi rig with reinforced holster mouth for one-handed reholstering.  Weapon is held by friction fit.  Rides high on the belt, and tucks the butt of the gun closely into the body.  Some wear marks, but overall in very good shape.

Ted Blocker #911T ($30)

Fits: Full-sized 1911, Browning HP.

Description:  Extremely sturdy holster made from thick leather.  Covered belt channel.  Holster allows for “hammer down” or cocked-and-locked carry.  Suede-lined.  Probably the sturdiest holster I’ve ever owned.  Some scuffs and wear marks, but in very good shape.

Middle row:

  • DeSantis single mag carrier, black, for double-stack magazines ($10)
  • Strong single mag carrier, black, for single-stack magazines ($10)

  1. Whitebread says:

I’ll take the fanny pack, please. Email incoming.

  2. SayUncle says:

i’ll take the 1911 mags. And the single stack mag carrier.

email at sayuncle at gmail dot com

  3. SayUncle says:

    but not the six rounder

  4. SayUncle says:

sorry, i’m an idiot. i mean the ‘Bianchi double mag carrier, brown, for single-stack magazines’

  5. don’t need any of that stuff (if you think you’ve got an odd assortment of gun junk try running a pawn & gun for a decade or three; fortunately i dumped most of it on clint when he bought me out).

still, considering the amount of your bandwidth i’ve burned, your mostly gracious forbearance, and considerable entertainment value i’ve derived, i’m dropping a jackson in the jar via paypal.

put it toward the roof, the stove, sugar bombs, or dog food…or a bottle of hooch when you get the bills for all of the above.

  6. umm…what the hell happened to the tip jar?

    • Marko says:

The button went away when I did the last visual update. The email address is still valid for PayPal, though.

  7. yeah…well that too seems elusive. what is the email again?

and dude, i know you’re not totally comfortable with the whole crass commercialism thing, but you gotta make it easier to get paid!

  8. ah, found it cleverly camouflaged in the post…payment forthcoming.

  9. Tony says:

If you don’t have a problem with shipping to Finland, my girlfriend would like to try out the Ted Blocker 911T. That’s assuming extra shipping costs remain reasonable, of course. 🙂

    • Marko says:

A one-pound package to Finland would run about $10 in shipping. If you want, just add $5 to the price of the holster, and I’ll cover the other $5.

      Sound fair?

      • Tony says:

Extremely fair! I’ll Paypal the funds right away.

(…Although, the part of me that is amused by things that other people find weird is pointing out to me that trades for livestock are merely discouraged and not right out not accepted, and is busy wondering how to airmail a live chicken… :p )

      • Kristopher says:

Good choice, Tony. I have a pair of Ted Blocker holsters hand made for my Ruger Super Redhawk … one is a dress holster, and the other is a PPC-type crossdraw.

His shop is about 25 miles from my home … those holsters will probably outlast me.

  10. Wally says:

Is the “Bianchi double mag carrier, brown, for double-stack magazines” made for the wider polymer (Glock) mags or the narrower steel mags ?

    • Marko says:

Both. It has double tension screws with generous rubber washers in between. I’ve mainly used it for Glock 19 mags back when I was working for Ye Olde Glock Shoppe, but I’ve also used it with metal mags when I carried a P99. It adjusts snugly to just about any double-stack mag in the 9mm/.40 size.

  11. Martini says:

If you think the Bianchi will hold a Sig 225 I’ll take it. I will also take the Strong single mag carrier, black, for single-stack magazines ($10) and the Bianchi double mag carrier, brown, for double-stack magazines ($15). Either post a reply or drop me an email. Thanks

    • Marko says:

I’ve actually carried a P6/P225 in that holster, and it fits it just about perfectly. There’s maybe half an inch of leather left over that the bottom when the gun is in the holster, but it doesn’t matter much, because the holster rides so high on the belt anyway.

Let me know if you want it, and I’ll mark it as gone.

  12. Jeff says:

I’d take the Tomcat and 1911 officers mag if they are still available.

  13. Martini says:

yup I’ll take the holster. Paypal is no problem, should I just put shipping info in there?

  14. Lawyer says:

I’ll take the two Desantis mag carriers (black and brown), if they’re still available.

    • Marko says:

      Yes, they are.

Send me your address in the next sixty minutes or so, and they’ll even make today’s mail run.

      • Wild Deuce says:

Is he talking about the two double stackers? … it seems those are the last two items. I hope not. If they are, I dawdled too long.

      • Lawyer says:

Thanks! I missed this mail run, but I have now sent my home address and sent the money via PayPal.

  15. aczarnowski says:

Damn. Gotta get up early to check the tubes if deals are to be had. Congrats on selling out so fast Marko.
