sharp of tooth and skunky of breath.

The puppy had his five-week checkup and first deworming yesterday. He’s doing just fine. His name on the AKC paperwork will be Uther, but we’re going to call him Henry around the house. As you can see, he has discovered stuffed animals, and the little pink pig is his favorite so far.

Don’t be deceived by the tranquil scene in the picture. He fell asleep while mauling his little pink pal.

My sainted Pit Bull, Ozzy loved him some stuffed animals. We got ’em by the carload at second hand outlets. Oz would shake and chew until the entire front room was filled with clouds of stuffings. Then Oz would sit and look at you as if you’d done it. I don’t think he ever connected shaking, chewing, and pulling the stuffed critter apart while standing on it with it coming apart. A 15″ tall teddy bear would last him about an hour, then he’d systamitacilly shred the pelt. Real critters were safe as if in church around him, he chased rabbits and squirrels until they stopped, then lost all interest. Cats were to sleep with ’cause they were warm and soft, same with kittens and little kids. Not bad for one of those nasty, vicious pit bull monsters.
